This is my ninth year at Puckett's Mill Elementary School, my sixteenth year in education . I graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois ready to teach elementary school. Early in my career, however, I realized my love for supporting students' mental, social, and emotional well-being. I obtained my Specialist in Education degree in School Counseling and joined the Puckett's Mill Elementary family.
My husband, Mr. Capes, is the PMES PE teacher, and our two boys were students here. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading a great book, and writing music.
I am honored to support our K-5 Puckett's Mill students.
